"The "lovely, bubbly, gentle, girl" from Somerset Road, Failsworth, died in an accident on the M60 on April 5 - just days after she discovered she was six weeks pregnant."
"Nicola adored and always looked out for her two brothers; Scott and Ben. This too went for her Dad Colin. Nicola was definitely a "daddy's girl", and loved to fuss over him, making sure that he never worked too hard and never wanted for anything.
Nicola loved having friends round, cooking meals and being a great entertainer. She also loved a good dance, out on the town with the girls, and being the mother of the group as she was, always made sure everyone was enjoying themselves and took care to see that everyone got home safe at the end of the night. That's just who she was.. The most caring, considerate and thoughtful person anyone could ever know."

I remember reading about Nicola's accident and the tragedy of the loss of her life. I could tell she was a lovely person by the way she smiled on the photographs. My memory is that the perpetrator of this disgusting crime drove away and was never caught. I makes me so sad to think that a whole year has passed and he still hasn't found the courage to come forward. Nicola, I am sure that justice will be done for you and your family and friends. May God continue to hold you and your child sleeping peacefully in the palm of his hand. Jx
